Tottenham are almost back to full strength now with the return of Jan Vertonghen at centre back, and with a full compliment of players to choose from they should have too much for Stoke to handle in Sunday’s sole Premier League game.
The Potteries side are going quite nicely this season but they have lost 50% of their away games, and having only scored once in each of their last four outings they are going to find it hard to break down a resolute Spurs backline; particularly with Xherdan Shaqiri still absent.
Spurs boast the best home defensive record in the division, and have kept clean sheets in 8/12 league matches at White Hart Lane. This selection is a no-brainer therefore.
