If you hadn’t watched Burnley’s win over Chelsea on the opening weekend, you might assume the Clarets put in a monumental performance.
And they did, to an extent, although the stats suggest that the Blues were the better side even with ten men.
Sean Dyche’s men crashed and burned last time out against West Brom – the classic ‘after the lord mayor’s show’ syndrome, and they failed to register a single shot on target against the Baggies.
Tottenham are not quite the same at Wembley as they were at White Hart Lane, that can be said with some authority. But they probably didn’t deserve to lose against Chelsea last time out, and with Burnley playing very much on the back foot they will enjoy plenty of time to get acquainted with the Wembley turf.
