Premier League Betting Tips Sunday 10th September

Here we go then: after the inconvenience of the international break, the bread and butter of the Premier League is back and punters are ready to sew their oats with a jam-packed weekend schedule.

Sean Dyche Burnley FC manager

Will those who were in full bloom prior to the break continue their momentum this week? And will those out of form managed to have found something that can turn their campaign around? The supporters of Manchester United and Crystal Palace, amongst others, will have differing views on that.

So let’s get back into the saddle and ride all the way to win town with Sunday’s Premier League betting tips.

Burnley vs Crystal Palace (Sunday, 1:30pm)

This is one of those selections where you look at the price and think ‘what are the bookmakers playing at here?’

Burnley, so good at Turf Moor last season you’ll recall, have already taken points off Chelsea and Spurs this term, and they seem to thrive on challenging sides at their atmospheric home ground.

Making the unenviable trip north is a Crystal Palace side who are completely in the doldrums. There has been talk of Frank de Boer getting the sack – he’s only presided over three matches! – and that in itself is explanatory of problem off-the-field as well as on it.

Burnley aren’t going to make life any easier for them, and frankly we can’t believe the available odds.

Swansea vs Newcastle (Sunday, 4:00pm)

This is another of those ‘pick ‘em’ matches where a case for all three results can be made, but Swansea’s lack of creative edge just nudges us in the direction of Newcastle.

The Swans managed just one shot on target in their opening two games, and the decision to sell Gylfi Sigurdsson and Fernando Llorente is one that will likely haunt them. And yes they won last time out, but victory over Crystal Palace seems to be a given at present.

Newcastle comfortably outplayed West Ham last time out and for large spells of the game against Spurs were in charge, and they should welcome back Florian Lejeune and DeAndre Yedlin here after injury. The Magpies have ‘won’ the shot count in two of their three games, and they seem fair value to get something from their trip to Wales.

Recommended Bet

Newcastle +0.25 Asian Handicap (13/15 with Betfred)
