Four wins, two draws and no defeats with a goal difference of +11 will do very nicely indeed for the Toffees, and let’s not forget they stuffed Man City (4-0), Bournemouth (6-3) and Southampton (3-0) in amongst those games. Sunderland should be quaking in their boots.
The Black Cats continue to struggle and while they occasionally pull results out of the bag on home soil – the draws with Liverpool and Tottenham evidence of that – on the road they are awful: W2 D1 L9 being their record.
Everton will be well fancied to hand out a hell of a beating on Saturday.
